Event is open to the public. During this meeting we will have guest speaker, Barbara Stafford. Barbara Stafford is owner/consultant for Task Global, an international business consulting company. She works with businesses in Scandinavia, Europe and Australia helping develop global business strategies.
Barbara has over 30 years of public relations, marketing and government-relations experience. Under contract to WAGAN (Wyoming Association and Government Affairs network) she is a legislative liaison for the Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association, the Wyoming Travel Industry Coalition, Wyoming Retail Association and Wyoming Economic Development Association. She has worked with several non-profits around the State and region in their lobbying efforts. She has been a Board member of K9s4 Mobility; the Laramie County based Service Dog Training Facility. On behalf of K9s4 Mobility and WAGAN Barbara assisted Representatives Landon Brown and Dan Zwonitzer (Cheyenne) in working HB114, which offers additional protections for Service Dogs and Assistance Animals in Wyoming. HB114 was passed by the Wyoming Legislature in 2017 and signed into Law by Governor Matt Mead in March of 2017. Barbara will be discussing Wyoming ‘s statutes on Service Dogs and Assistance animals and actions taken to strengthen the statutes. She will also give an update on Federal actions relating to ADA laws.

An infant playgroup for moms, dads and infants (birth to 12 months) is held weekly. It is a time of socialization and play along with opportunities for baby sign language, baby massage, infant development and learning of community resources.
