CHEYENNE, Wy.(KGWN)- The Red Cross is assisting 2 Cheyenne residents after a house fire near Frontier Park.
The call came in just before 2 pm on Tuesday (January 16) to the 3800 block of Cribbon Avenue.
Cheyenne Fire and Rescue say thanks to quick work the fire was under control in less than 10 minutes.
The sounds of working smoke alarms alerted neighbors who called 911. Cheyenne Firefighters say that this event could serve as a reminder to everyone to double check your alarms.
No one was home at the time, but the Red Cross is providing lodging and any other immediate needs to those living at the home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
