CHEYENNE, Wyo. (KGWN) - Now Cheyenne has a constant reminder of the preciousness of life. Linda Guerrero, the wife of Silas Ojeda's grandfather, planned a mural to be painted on the old Salvation Army building at the intersection of Nationway and Lincolnway.
The mural is of Silas Ojeda, who went missing last year. Local artist, Eddie Fernandez, created this piece of art. Many in the community say they already feel a connection to it.
The owner of the builder where the mural is displayed says, "The mural is helping every child to be noticed and make sure child abuse is done away with. We are one step closer to achieving that goal. "
CBS NewsChannel 5 reached out to the sheriff's department, but weren't given anymore information regarding the investigation.
