Border War more than just game for Cowboys

LARAMIE, Wyo. Battle lines will be drawn Friday as cadets from Wyoming and CSU exchange Saturday's game ball at the state line.

A day after that, hose lines will be crossed as the Cowboys face the Rams in the 108th edition of the storied Border War.

Lately the war has been a bit lopsided, seeing the Rams win the past three games by a combined sixty-three points.

CSU enters Saturday 2-2, while already on their third quarterback. Wyoming, meanwhile, has been gifted with Josh Allen, the best signal caller the Pokes have seen in some time.

With a new stadium set to be ready for next season, this will mark the last meeting between the two inside CSU's Hughes Stadium.

Looking to calim the bronzeboot for the first time in four years, Craig Bohl talked about the significance of beating the Rams.
