CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Dec. 19, 2016) – The Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne is excited to announce it was selected as one of 50 Clubs from around the country participating in Renovation Across the Nation. This initiative, supported by Lowe’s, awarded 50 individual $50,000 grants and volunteer assistance to one Club per state around the Country.
Over the past three months, renovations to the Cheyenne clubhouse have been made, with the help of Lowe’s volunteers, including the addition of a canopy over the dumpster area, additional landscaping, building a new garden shed and storage area, tectum panels to reduce noise in the gym, and safety pads on the north and south walls of the gym.
These new additions have already improved the overall functionality of the Club, and will continue to impact Club operations moving forward.
As the need to update facilities increases and maintenance costs rise, Lowe’s support is helping the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne make critical improvements to ensure the Club remains a safe and inviting place for Cheyenne’s youth who need them most.
Join us on December 21 at 4:30 p.m. to see the Club improvements and discuss the updates with Club executives, kids and teens, as well as Lowe’s leadership.
