CHEYENNE, Wyo A general surgeon stopped by the morning show to discuss hernias and robotic technology used to perform minimally invasive hernia surgeries.

Hernias are a bulging of an organ or tissue through an abnormal opening. There are ways to repair hernias, one way is surgery. Robotic technology helps get into the invasive spots and it takes the healing process down.

If you are interested in learning more about the robotic technologies and hernias, Dr. Jeremy Gates will be offering a free community health presentation about this topic at CRMC on November 30, from 5:50 to 6:30 p.m., in the main auditoriums.

Check out the interview from the morning show for more information as well.
