CHEYENNE, Wyo - When you are diagnosed with cancer many things run through your mind, one thing you aren't expecting is how fatigue you become.
Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has created a program to help battle your fatigue, but also bring you closer to people who have cancer.
The cancer rehabilitation program that's held at Gold's Gym, but is paired with CRMC, is there to help you fight fatigue, brighten your mood and get to know others who suffer with cancer. It's held every Tuesday and Thursday beginning at 11am it is free. You will also need a doctors release so the trainer knows where you are with your treatments.
Tammy Thiede says when people get diagnosed it's best to start cancer rehab that way further into your diagnosis you won't be as fatigued.
Cancer Rehabilitation classes have the potential to enhance your energy level, decrease fatigue, improve your activity capacity and improve your overall sense of wellbeing.
