CRMC's Behavioral Health Services is ranked top in the nation

CHEYENNE, Wyo - Cheyenne Regional Medical Center's Behavioral Health Services center was recently recognized by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.

The BHS is one of the top 20 inpatient psychiatric units in the nation based on standard quality measures of psychiatric care. This places BHS among the top one percent of inpatient psychiatric units in the nation.

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center’s Behavioral Health Services offers inpatient and outpatient programs to support patients who are experiencing a behavioral health need on their pathway to recovery.

The Behavioral Health Services team is committed to providing outstanding patient care in an environment that supports growth and recovery for our patients.

The interdisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses and licensed therapists.

Treatment begins with an initial evaluation. Our professionals then work in partnership with the patient to create an individualized treatment plan focusing on recovery. This plan may include individual therapy, group therapy, couples counseling, intensive outpatient treatment and ECT, education and support in an outpatient setting.

For patients experiencing an acute episode of behavioral illness, we have an acute adult inpatient unit to offer care during this time.
