Central soccer player signs with LCCC

Laramie, Wyo. - Central soccer player Liam Leslie signed his letter of intent Tuesday to join LCCC's soccer program.

The center midfielder says he joined the Golden Eagles because of the great coaching staff and the added bonus of working with current teammates.

Leslie said, "I'm really good friends with Aaron [Barber] and a couple of my classmates have also signed - Parker Longbottom and Tommy Swainson have also signed to play at LCCC next year. Quinn Hunt is already there and he's a Cheyenne boy as well so we've got a really strong Wyoming group playing there next year and it will be fun to play with guys I've played with for a lot of my career."

The senior scored 1 goal last year for the Indians, but his role on the team is not up front. As a midfielder, Leslie creates plays on offense and gets back on defense to help block plays.
