Cheyenne Botanic Gardens has a lot to look forward to this holiday season

CHEYENNE, Wyo - In our monthly series with Cheyenne Botanic Gardens we had Tina Worthman in to talk about events going on in the Botanic Gardens.

Friday, November 17 the 40th anniversary celebration will begin. The Botanic Gardens will be throwing it back to the 1970's for this party. You are asked to dress in 70s clothing, there will be a DJ, pinball and more all to celebrate the year the gardens started. Tickets are $77 for non-members and $70 for members. There will be t-shirts for sale, for $30. Throwback to those made in 1977 at the Gardens.

On November 29th the gardens will be previewing the Jane Goodall movie for $10.

There will be holiday events at the Paul Smith Children's village throughout December, Santa will be at the Children's Village on December 8th and 9th. This event is free as well as the 1000 Faces of Santa exhibit.

This year the new Grand Conservatory will be decorated for the holidays, there will be poinsettias planted on the flower wall.

Don't forget holiday hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
