Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is hosting a Breast Fest for Breast Cancer Awareness month

CHEYENNE, Wyo - Jenni Van Horn and Dani Best with Cheyenne Regional Medical center's cancer center stopped by the morning show to discuss cancer and events for cancer patients, family members, and just people wanting to learn about cancer.

Jenni Van Horn is a clinical nurse specialist, she oversees Cheyenne Regional Medical Centers genetic testing and counseling program. There are only a few cancers that are genetic and Breast Cancer is one of them. She discusses what is involved in genetic testing and what to expect with genetic cancers.

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is hosting a fireside chat tonight, Tuesday October 10 at 6:00 pm it is open to the public, and on October 11 Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Radiology department and Cheyenne Women's Imaging Pavilion will be hosting a breast fest from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm, where underinsured and underserved woman can get a mammography for free, woman can get screened, and there will be gift bags.

The Breast Fest is at the Cheyenne Women’s Imaging Pavilion at 2003 Bluegrass Circle (off of Dell Range).
