Cheyenne Restaurant Week begins Sunday

Cheyenne, Wyo. - The 2nd annual Cheyenne Restaurant Week runs April 2-8, 2017.

Special deals and special meals are on the menu as more than 25 restaurants across Laramie County are participating in the 2nd annual Cheyenne Restaurant Week. The seven day event, April 2-8, will highlight culinary excellence and is a combined effort of Visit Cheyenne and the restaurant community.

The number of restaurants participating this year is more than double the number that joined in the promotion last year. Every kind of restaurant from diners, to fine dining to all three breweries can be found on the list of participants.

Restaurants will offer special menu options at special prices during the week. For example, Wyoming’s Rib and Chop House is offering patrons a choice of two appetizers, two entrees and dessert for just $30. The Plains Hotel Dining Room has a special for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which showcases their latest menu. Bella Fuoco, one of the newest restaurants in Cheyenne, is offering a personal sized pizza and a salad for $10.

Visit Cheyenne CEO Darren Rudloff says Restaurant Week is an opportunity to showcase Cheyenne’s dining options: “We take Cheyenne’s restaurant scene for granted sometimes, but when you look at this list of 26 independently owned eateries, you realize that Cheyenne has a very diverse culinary scene. Restaurant week is highlighting the variety and scope of this scene. From fine dining to quick service, the 26 restaurants participating cover the entire gamut. We encourage residents and visitors from the surrounding area to try new restaurants and menu items during the week.”
