CHEYENNE, Wyo - The Cheyenne Police Department will be holding a workshop on active shooter situations on December 6th from 6pm to 8pm. This comes after the mass shooting at a church in Sutherland, Texas. The department says that local churches have been discussing having a training session to be better prepared just in case an active shooter was to happen.

The workshop is open to the public and will be held at the department headquarters on West 18th Street.
