CHEYENNE, Wyo.- The City of Cheyenne and the Cheyenne Firefighters Union have begun their discussion for collective labor bargaining purposes.

The city offered their proposal on February 16. The meeting began with identifying both parties involved and was followed by a ground rules proposal for how the meetings will be handled.

Both parties later split during an executive session where they had a chance to review that proposal and spent the majority of the night doing so. However, those details will remain confidential until they are discussed in public on Monday, February 19 during their next meeting at 6 p.m.

During the next meeting, both parties will be able to review and discuss the proposal section by section. The public is invited to attend the meetings at the Municipal Building.
