Cheyenne, Wyo. - The Laramie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly house fire that killed two people and two dogs early Wednesday morning.

It happened around 145am in the 6300 block of Browning Drive, off south Greeley highway and Terry Ranch Road. Fire districts 1, 2, 4 and crews from FE Warren all responded.

Dillon Conner Assistant Chief for LCFD1 says “We train very frequently in mock fires. When it comes to a critical incident and a high-level stress occurrence, it turns into muscle memory.”

When they arrived, they found one person dead inside the home. Once the structure was safe to enter, crews found the second body.

There’s no word yet on what caused this fire.
