Doctors talk on what's going around in Cheyenne

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (KGWN) - With so many people feeling under the weather, we checked in with Stitches Acute Care Downtown and HealthReach on the north side of town to see what's going around.

Downtown, Dr. Dan Surdam with Stitches says they've seen an uptick in cold and flu like symptoms. At HealthReach, Dr. Matt Ptaszkiewicz says they have been seeing Bronchitis, Sinusitis, Croup, and Urinary Tract Infections.

While Flu season is approaching doctors around town haven't seen many cases yet, but they do recommend getting a Flu shot before the end of October. The Flu shot does take two weeks to become effective, and most insurance companies cover the cost of the shot.
