Cheyenne, Wyo. - As you head out for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday shopping, as well as Cyber Monday, keep our military members in mind.
The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce’s Military Affairs Committee is accepting donations for care packages that will be sent to deployed military service men and women. It’s a great way to give them the gift of home during the holidays.
There are currently over 230 packages that will be sent this year, and donations are needed form the community. They’re looking for things like snacks, cookies, candy; and personal care items as well as entertainment like books, DVDs and AA & AAA batteries to power devices.
Donations will be accepted until December 4 at the following locations in Cheyenne.
Jason Duda Farmers Insurance Agency – 7215 Commons Cir, Ste A
Security First Bank – 500 W 18th St
Burns Insurance Agency – 237 Storey Blvd, Ste 200
