Austin, Tx - Former Rockies Manager Don Baylor died early Monday morning (8/7/17).

He’d been struggling for years with multiple myeloma, sometimes known as bone marrow cancer.

Before becoming the Rockies first manager in 1993, Baylor played for the Orioles, Angels, Yankees, Red Sox, Twins and Athletics. In total, he spent time with 14 different MLB teams as either a player or manager. During his time in Denver (1993-98), the Texas-native had a 440-469 win-loss record.

Baylor was 68 years old.
