CHEYENNE, Wyo - In our monthly series with the Laramie County Library Carey Hartmann stopped by to discuss a career fair and a discussion on immigration.

The Discover Space career fair will be help on March 10th from 10:30 in the morning until 12:30. Kids from grades 3-12 will be able to explore different professions in the space field.

Local people from EchoStar satellite communication service center and UW space center students and employees will be in to help kids learn and also, talk about careers.

On March 14th beginning at 6:00 pm a discussion called Coming to America will be held at the Library as well. It's a deliberative forum discussing immigration and how it impacts you.

An immigration institute called National Issues Forum Institute and the Kettering Foundation are asking people around the nation about immigration. They want to know how immigration impacts you locally and personally. They will then gather this information and take it to Washington, DC.

There is a public voices event on May 9th in DC where all policy makers can see what's happening around the nation for immigration.

This forum is great to give locals a voice, listen to one another, learn from each other and share personal experiences.

For more information on either of these events check out the interview from the morning show.
