Hoy's Drugs closing its doors

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (KGWN) - Hoy's Drugs will be closing after many years in business in the Cheyenne community. The owner says it's due to a legal battle with investors. The store will be closing on Monday.

So, what is next for the building? The property was purchased last year by the owner of Four Winds Lounge, J.J. Moran. Moran says there are already plans in the works to fill the building.

Moran says, "One of the suitors that I've spoken with would certainly bring something new and unique, if everything goes as planned it will certainly be unique and a need for not only this area but the entire community."

Moran says he is exploring the possibility of a market, retail or restaurant. He says the earliest the building could potentially be filled is this summer.
