CHEYENNE, Wyo. (KGWN) - At schools around Cheyenne, a virus is going around. Nurses are seeing an increase in a stomach virus accompanied by lot of vomiting. They first saw students with this virus in November and believe now is the peak time.
The vomiting occurs about once every two hours and parents have reported that this virus can last one to four days. Nurses are urging parents to take their kids to see a doctor if the vomiting lasts longer than one day.
Some of the best ways to protect against this include washing your hand for thirty second at a time.
Also, drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest.
