CHEYENNE, Wyo. - LCCC opened registration for STEM Day, which will take place on the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 28. This is an opportunity for students and the community to explore more than 20 different fields of study at LCCC with hands-on experience and small-group time with instructors and experts in the field.
It’s targeted toward students but we also know there are a significant number of adults in the area looking to change jobs, and with the growth of opportunity in tech fields, this is a chance for many to discover some of these options.
STEM day is being held Wednesday February 28 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm high school juniors and seniors as well as community members
are invited to learn more about STEM-related careers with
presentations, hands-on activities, lunch and a career fair.
This event is free, but space is limited you must register by Feb. 23, 2018.
For technology they have diesel, welding, automotive, engineering technology and construction management. For science they Health Science which is limited to 45 participants, you can learn surgical technology, emergency medicine and agro-ecology.
Science is limited to 12 participants you can learn, radiography, dental hygiene and nursing to name a few.
