CHEYENNE, Wyo. (KGWN) - Science, technology, engineering, and math. This is what is called STEM and Laramie County Community College is hosting a fun and educational event called STEM Day.
It's an opportunity for students and the community to explore stem-related careers and get some hands on experience with experts in the field.
Adam Keizer, of LCCC, says, "There's a big push for STEM across the state and we are constantly asked by our community to provide good employees for them, especially within these programs, and we know that these programmers are fantastic and they lead to good paying jobs."
High school juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend the event filled with presentations, hands-on activities, lunch, and a career fair.
STEM Day is on February 28 at LCCC.
