Cheyenne, Wyo. - The Laramie County Clerk’s office will begin issuing the State of Wyoming’s redesigned Certificate of Title for vehicles this week.

The new certificates will be issued for cars, trucks, trailers, motorcycles, mobile homes, boats, and other motorized vehicles required by law to be titled.

According to Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee, the new title certificates will be slightly larger than the previous version and will have improved security features. Lee notes that titles previously issued by the Clerk’s office remain valid and acceptable for transfer of ownership of a motor vehicle.

If you have questions about the new certificates of title or the legitimacy of any Wyoming title, please contact the Titles department of the Laramie County Clerk at (307) 633-4247. The Titles department is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Laramie County Clerk’s office issues an average of 4000 motor vehicle titles to customers each month.
