Laramie Man arrested for Strangulation

Laramie, Wyo. - A Laramie man has been arrested for Strangulation of a Household Member, Felonious Restraint, and Misdemeanor Charges.

On March 9, 2018 at 3:00 a.m., Laramie Police Officers were dispatched to the 1000 Block of North McCue Street for the report of a disturbance.

As a result of the Officers’ investigation, Richard A. Aguilar, 36, of Laramie was arrested and charged with Strangulation of a Household Member, Felonious Restraint, Interference with an Emergency Call, as well as Hit and Run-Failure to Report.

At this time Aguilar remains incarcerated at the Albany County Detention Center.

Strangulation of a household member is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than five (5) years. Felonious restraint is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than five (5) years
