F.E. Warren AFB - This weekend, the 90th Mission Support Group unveiled a new name to a memorial plaque at F.E. Warren Air Force Base.
Technical Sergeant Matthew Schwartz's name was added to local personnel who died during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
TSgt. Schwartz was an explosive ordnance disposal technician stationed at Warren AFB. In January of 2012, while serving in Afghanistan, he entered hostile territory where he located and neutralized two IED's. However TSgt. Schwartz was killed soon afterwards by another explosive device.
