LARAMIE COUNTY, Wy.(KGWN)- A grassfire possibly caused by lightning kept multiple fire crew busy Monday night (September 11).
The call came in around 6 pm near Hillsdale. The fire was spotted in the area of county road 143 just south of the railroad tracks.
The latest report was the fire burned around 40 acres.
Thanks to joint response from Laramie County Fire Districts 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 along with F.E. Warren and the National Guard, the fire was put out quickly. Crews had the scene clear in about an hour.
No word on if any structures were threatened or damaged.
