No survivors after Wyoming plane crash

EVANSTON, Wyo. - The Federal Aviation Administration and NTSB are investigating after a small plane crashed near Evanston at 3:07pm on Sunday.

Two people have been confirmed dead and officials said there are no survivors. Unita County sheriff's officials said Monday the plane is registered to William and Michelle Patterson and they are believed to have been the ones who died in the crash.

According to the Uinta County Wyoming Sheriff’s Department, the plane caught fire after crashing about one mile north of Evanston near Bear River.

The plane has been described as a Socata TBM7 and was coming from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
