Pattern Change Ahead

CHEYENNE, Wyo If you enjoy summer weather, you’re in luck! With the exception of a brief cooldown last week, a “ridge” in the jet stream has left a persistent “bubble” of warm air over much of the western US and kept cooler air bottled up in Canada. This pattern will continue at least through mid week. The warmest day will likely be Tuesday as temperatures are expected to be 10 to as much as 15 degrees above normal for this time of year. A few locations may even approach record highs!
