Significant Winter Weather Event Late Tomorrow into Monday Morning

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - We are tracking a storm system that will bring significant snowfall to the region Sunday evening and lasting into Monday morning. Anywhere from 5-8 inches of snow is expected in Cheyenne and Laramie. For Torrington, Scottsbluff, and the Nebraska Panhandle, just looking at 1-3 inches. The snow is expected to begin around 6-8pm Sunday evening and last through Monday morning. For the first few hours, the snow will come down very heavy, with whiteout conditions possible during this time. Roadways will become very slick and in some cases potentially impassable.
