Fort Collins, Colo. - The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of a plane crash near the Wyoming-Colorado border.

It happened Friday morning (10/13/17) along U.S. Highway 287, near Overland Trail, which is north of Fort Collins.

Poudre Fire Authority authorities say the single engine plane crashed in a field. However, the only one inside was the pilot, and he was not injured.
