Suspected drugged driver crashes into fence

Cheyenne, Wyo. - Cheyenne police have arrested a man for DUI after he crashed his car into a fence Wednesday morning (10/11/17).

It happened around 11am in the 700 block of Russell Avenue. No one was hurt, but officers believe the driver, Troy Painter, 22, was on heroin at the time.

When officers arrived, they found Painter slumped behind the wheel and performed CPR until paramedics arrived and gave him a dose of Narcan to revive him.

Painter has been ticketed for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of heroin and failing to maintain a lane.
