The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
North central Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming...

* Until 530 PM MDT

* At 444 PM MDT, a tornado producing storm was located 9 miles
northeast of North Cheyenne, or 14 miles northeast of Cheyenne,
moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Storm Spotters and National Weather Service Employees
confirmed multiple tornadoes about 12 miles northeast of
Cheyenne.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
north central Laramie County.

This does not include the city of Cheyenne.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
