Torrington, Wyo. - A Torrington High School student has been arrested for allegedly threatening his school.

The Goshen County School District says the threats were made on social media.

And after working with police, the district says the student, who has not been named, was taken into custody Tuesday night.

The district is reminding people that making threats of any kind, will not be tolerated.

GCSD#1 superintendent Jean Chrostoski sent an email saying, “As a district we feel very strongly that it is not "ok" to make statements or to post pictures on social media that depict violence or threats to others, and they will be taken seriously.”
