CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Good morning! We are looking at widespread rainfall moving into the region this afternoon and evening. When you pick your kids up from school or leaving work, you will need that umbrella handy. Temperatures today will be in the 50s and 60s, but late tonight, those will drop into the 30s and 40s, allowing for parts of the area to see a change over to snow. As for accumulations, not looking at much across SE Wyoming, with the exception of the Laramie Range and along the pass, where there could be a few inches of snow.
Tomorrow, we will start the day with snow showers and even a rain/snow mix in some areas. As temperatuers warm up, things will change back over to rain. Highs tomorrow will be in the 30s, 40s and 50s. The rain and snow will begin to taper off during the afternoon hours.
The weekend is looking good, with the exception of a few lingering showers on Saturday, but I believe most will remain dry. Highs will be in the 50s and 60s, and lows in the 30s. Sunday will have abundant sunshine and highs in the 60s and 70s.
Next week, things get active once again. From Tuesday through Friday, looking at several chances for rain. Temperatures will be in the 50s, 60s, and 70s for highs and 30s and 40s for lows.
Have a wonderful day!
