Cheyenne, Wyo. - Craft brewing continues to be a popular trend, and this past weekend's Great American Beer Festival in Denver was huge success, selling out once again.
In fact, several Wyoming breweries took part in the event with six attending and submitting a total of 45 different beers.
Four of those breweries took home a total of five medals, including Altitude Chophouse and Brewery out of Laramie who won gold for their Tumblewheat as well as a bronze medal for The Kolsh Experiment beer. Melvin Brewing, from Jackson, brought home a gold medal for their Melvin IP; Snake River Brewing, also from Jackson, earned a silver for their Kelly Alt beer. Finally, from the city of Sheridan, Blacktooth Brewing got a silver medal for their Saddle Bronc Brown Beer.
