LCCC goalkeepr makes professional soccer roster

Laramie, Wyo. - Laramie County Community College Men’s Soccer goalkeeper Angel Alvarez has made the spring training roster with the Las Vegas Lights.

The Lights play in the USL (United Soccer League) which is one of the most prominent Division II professional soccer leagues.

Alvarez played for the Golden Eagles this past season. Started in 12 matches, played 1,082 minutes in goal and recorded 78 saves on the season.

He is a Las Vegas native and has two pre-season friendlies coming up against Vancouver Whitecaps and D.C. United.
