Meteorologist

The person we’re looking for should be have a degree in Meteorology or related field, be able to generate their own forecasts separate from the National Weather Service by analyzing data and reading/understanding model data, be able to update the website and social media in an effective and timely manner, especially during severe weather, and provide calm and confident information during severe weather outbreaks.

Southeast Wyoming is an exciting and challenging area to forecast in, since we experience everything from Blizzards & Arctic Outbreaks to Severe Weather & Tornadoes. At your disposal will be a state of the art Weather System (WSI Max & Max Storm and Weather Central Live:Wire) and colleagues who share your love for weather.
