Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Starting this Saturday, Project Prom will once again be making local girl's prom dreams come true.

Tuesday morning, volunteers from Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power were busy moving dresses into Project Prom's new location at 113 West 17th Street.

Now in its eighth year, Project Prom offers free formal dresses to local students who might not otherwise be able to afford a gown.

"Let's face it, the prices are very expensive," said Project Prom Director Jean Richardson. "So we give the people who donate the dresses the opportunity to see that dress put to good use and to be worn again for someone's special day."

Richardson says donations of gently used, clean gowns are still
being accepted. Dresses can be dropped off at Project Prom's new downtown location or at Just Dandy at 212 West 17th Street.
