The television series "Chop Cut Rebuild" began production on their newest season featuring WYOTech Laramie. Over the course of the next several month, a national television production crew will follow students around WYOTech as the restore a old Ford pickup truck to being show quality.
WyoTech Laramie automotive technology students and staff will completely tear down the Ford F-100 pickup, and using the skills and knowledge provided by WyoTech, will work on the truck’s bodywork, upholstery, an engine and transmission mockup, and more.
Chop Cut Rebuild shares with household viewers the latest tools, professional techniques and tricks of the trade in a unique and “real life” format. Through WyoTech Laramie’s automotive and custom fabrication facilities, which includes modern tools and equipment in step with many of today's successful shops, students will show off their advanced skill sets learned through WyoTech’s educational curriculum and professionalism development.
This season of Chop Cut Rebuild will premiere on MAVTV (a Lucas Oil-owned network) in July to households across the US.
