Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Cattle rustling is on the increase in the Cowboy State.
According to the Wyoming Livestock Board, about five cases of missing cattle have been reported so far this year.
The state averages about one to two thefts a year, but with cattle prices on the rise, rustlers can now get up to $375 for a 50 to 100 pound calf compared to about $100 in 2000.
