Cheyenne Botanic Garden damaged again

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Just a few weeks after replanting because of a hail storm, the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens suffered damage after another storm.

Shane Smith, Director of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, said the plants were just starting to re-bloom after they suffered hail damage from a storm a few weeks ago.

"We have a fair amount of growing season ahead of us so, we'll do our best to try and make things look better. We're especially sad to see things look so bad right before frontier days," said Smith.

The botanic gardens are looking for donations to help rebuild the garden. For more information visit their website at botanic.org.
