Veterans, active duty military and their families can enjoy a free picnic at VFW Post 1881 on 2816 E. Seventh St.
The Wyoming National Guard Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Admission is free and visitors can see an M7 field artillery tank, military uniforms, a 1943 Jeep used in World War II and a WWII 155 Howitzer.
