Cheyenne man sentenced for possession of meth

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Jeremia Montoya, 20, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on March 20, 2014, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute between 350-500 grams of a mixture or substance containing a
detectable amount of methamphetamine.

Montoya was arrested in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He received 60 months imprisonment, to be followed by four years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $400.00 fine and a $100.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
