Cheyenne man sentenced for possession of meth


Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Saul Castaneda, 51, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on April 9, 2014, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Castaneda was arrested in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He received 120 months imprisonment, to be followed by five years of supervised
release and was ordered to pay a $500.00 fine and a $100.00 special assessment.

This case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
