Cheyenne's DUI Task Force will be out in force St. Patrick's Day weekend

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - From the Cheyenne Regional DUI Task Force:

The Irish may have luck on St. Patrick’s Day but you won’t if you drink and drive in Laramie County.

The Cheyenne Regional DUI Task Force will be out in force St. Patrick’s Day weekend to deter impaired drivers on Cheyenne and Laramie County Roads.

For many citizens, St Patrick’s Day is a popular time to celebrate with friends and family. Unfortunately many will make the poor decision to get behind the wheel and drive after consuming excessive alcohol or other impairing agents.

The Cheyenne Regional DUI Task Force is made up of members of the Cheyenne Police Department, Laramie County Sheriff’s Department, Wyoming Highway Patrol and Wyoming State Parks.

Before drinking, designate a sober driver and leave your car keys at home. If you see a driver you think is under the influence call local law enforcement.
