Cheyenne's Project Prom dresses now available to Jr. High School students

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - ‘Project Prom’ organizers will offer free formal dresses to local Jr. High School students who are up for promotion. This year, the dresses will be made available at the new downtown location, 113 W.17th Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001 until Saturday, May 10th.

Project Prom provides formal dresses (at no charge) for local students who might otherwise not be able to purchase a dress.

Donations of gently used/clean gowns are also being accepted. Dress donations can be dropped off at ‘Just Dandy’ clothing store at 212 W. 17th Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001 or ‘Project Prom’s’ new 113 W. 17th Street location. Financial donations are also being accepted.

‘Project Prom’ is in its eighth year and has provided more than one thousand formal dresses to local students. The non-profit is also accepting new volunteers – please contact Jean Richardson if you would like to take part in this worthwhile project.

Hours: Thursdays 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
