Dedication to Frontier Park gate and new sculpture

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Bill Dubois was on the general committee for Frontier Days back in 1915 when the old Frontier Park gate was built. He was also a pretty well known architect at the time having help design the wings of the Capitol building as well as the Plain's Hotel.

99 years later, Bill Dubois (the third) was back in town at a dedication ceremony for the Frontier Park gate as well as a brand new dream catcher sculpture.

It was a small ceremony, with Dubois giving a few short words about his grandfather's hand in the gate, but there were many on hand as volunteers had just finished up hard day's work setting up the park for the Daddy Of 'Em All.

The gate was built in 1915 and this will be its 99th year of welcoming visitors to Frontier Days. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people have passed under the wrought iron arch, with hopefully many more doing so this year as well.
