The fair will take place on Wednesday, May 21st from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Cheyenne Workforce Center. The fair currently has nine employers that will be at the fair representing multiple industries.
On Tuesday, May 20th the Wy-Co Partnership is hosting a regional job fair which will be down in Loveland, Co at the Ranch. There will be over 70 employers represented at that job fair which is open to veterans only from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and then open to the rest of the public from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Jerry Davis, a DWS Veteran Employment Representative said this about the job fairs, "...a lot of jobs nowadays, you have to do online, you know, so you never get that opportunity to meet that HR person or speak to one... someone face to face. Well this is a perfect opportunity to do that, you know, to come to these job fairs, meet that employer, you know face to face, make that first impression, hand them your resume, and maybe talk a little more about your qualifications."
