Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Laramie County Sheriff, Danny Glick announced his intentions to run for re-election this afternoon.
Glick will be seeking his fourth term as Laramie County Sheriff after being elected to his first term in 2002.
He took the time to speak out against the legalization of marijuana in Colorado and talked about programs like 24/7 and Project Lifesaver that he hopes to develop further.
He wants to continue working with other agencies around the country to make Laramie County better.
"There are best practices being used in other agencies across the United States of similar size and with the potential of our budgets they deal with the same budgetary issues we do and if they've got a practice that is beneficial to their agency then it's good to reach out and see what that is and bring it home," Glick said.
